‘From Golf Course to Scout Activity Centre’

Permission was granted, back in December 2017, to turn the disused Riddlesden Golf Club into an activity centre for Scouting.

The main aim is for the activity centre to be enjoyed by all and be a great asset not only for Scouting and other young people but for the local community.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
